1. Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern sales made by SHrace Wheels Bike S.à r.l. (hereinafter referred to as "SHrace Wheels") to any customer (hereinafter referred to as "the Customer") via the e-commerce site https://shrace.fr. They define the rights and obligations of the parties in the context of the sale of handcrafted bicycle wheels and components.
2. Products
The wheels are handcrafted, made to order, and may be customized. The photos on the site are non-contractual. The essential features of each product are specified on the respective product page. The Customer is solely responsible for selecting the products and ensuring they suit their intended use.
3. Prices
Prices are displayed in euros (€), all taxes included (VAT). Shipping costs are indicated separately at the time of ordering. SHrace Wheels reserves the right to change prices at any time. However, products are invoiced based on the prices in effect at the time the order is confirmed.
4. Orders
Placing an order on https://shrace.fr implies full and unconditional acceptance of these GTCS. An order is confirmed only after payment is received. For custom-built wheels, the order becomes final upon payment confirmation.
5. Payment
Payment is due immediately upon ordering. Accepted payment methods include credit card, bank transfer, or any other method offered on the site. SHrace Wheels reserves the right to refuse any order in the event of a dispute with the Customer.
6. Delivery
Production times may vary depending on the complexity of the build and component availability. An estimated timeframe is communicated to the Customer upon order confirmation. Delivery is deemed completed once the package is handed over to the carrier. SHrace Wheels cannot be held responsible for delays caused by the carrier or errors in the delivery address provided by the Customer.
7. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Luxembourg law, the Customer has 14 days to exercise their right of withdrawal, except for custom or made-to-order products, which are non-refundable and non-returnable. If a return is accepted, the product must be sent back complete and in its original condition. Return shipping costs are borne by the Customer.
8. Warranty
Quality Guarantee
All SHrace Wheels are made with premium materials and according to strict quality standards. Each wheel undergoes rigorous testing before being released for sale.
Legal Guarantee
In accordance with applicable legislation, SHrace Wheels come with an extended 3-year legal guarantee covering hidden defects, conformity issues, and assembly faults.
Component Warranties
- Carbon rims: 5-year warranty against manufacturing defects and specific performance issues.
- SHRace spokes: 10-year exceptional warranty covering breakage and manufacturing defects.
- Hub bearings: 1 or 2-year warranty depending on the model (see product page or contact customer service).
Exclusions
Not covered:
- Damage from misuse, negligence, accidents, incorrect installation, or unauthorized modifications.
- Abuse (e.g., extreme jumps, downhill competition).
- Normal wear and tear.
Claims & Procedure
To file a warranty claim, contact our customer service with:
- Proof of purchase
- A description of the issue
We may require the product to be returned for inspection. Depending on the case, we will proceed with repair, replacement, or crash replacement.
Crash Replacement
In the event of an accident, take advantage of our exclusive program:
- 30% discount on damaged rim replacement
- 20% discount on labor and materials for repair
Wheel Loan
If your wheels are immobilized for repair, a temporary loan wheelset may be provided, subject to availability.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs for returns and replacements are the responsibility of the customer.
9. After-Sales Service
To access after-sales service, the Customer must provide proof of purchase and a detailed description of the issue. A technical evaluation will be carried out. If the defect is covered, SHrace Wheels will proceed with repair or replacement. External labor and shipping costs are not covered.
10. Transfer of Ownership and Risk
Ownership of the products is transferred to the Customer upon full payment. The risk associated with shipping passes to the Customer once the product is handed over to the carrier.
11. Data Protection
Personal data collected is used solely for order processing and customer relations. In accordance with applicable law, Customers may access, modify, or delete their personal data by contacting SHrace Wheels at contact@shrace.fr.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on https://shrace.fr, including texts, images, and technical elements, is protected by copyright. Any unauthorized use or reproduction is strictly prohibited.
13. Disputes – Applicable Law
These GTCS are governed by Luxembourg law. In case of dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. Failing that, only the courts of Luxembourg shall have jurisdiction.
