SH RACE was founded in Luxembourg by Stéphane Huertas, a lifelong cyclist and former competitor. After surviving a life-changing accident, Stéphane defied all odds to ride again. His comeback wasn’t just physical—it became the foundation for creating high-performance, custom-built carbon wheels that truly respond to a cyclist’s demands. Every SH RACE wheel is meticulously handcrafted, combining state-of-the-art technology and artisan-level attention to detail.

At SH RACE, performance is not a buzzword — it’s our foundation. We carefully select premium components like Sapim CX-Ray Aero spokes and precision freehub systems to deliver wheels that balance speed, stiffness, and comfort. Models like the Aero Wave, inspired by whale fin biomimicry, are designed for aerodynamic stability and maximum efficiency in all conditions. Crafted in Luxembourg, inspired by Albi

While our workshop is based in Luxembourg, our heart beats with the spirit of Albi, a historical city in southern France and Stéphane’s family hometown. Inspired by the adventurous soul of Jean-François de Lapérouse, a famous explorer born in Albi, we channel that same spirit of discovery into our wheelsets — especially the Astrolabe gravel wheels, which are named after the explorer’s ship and crafted for untamed paths and open horizons.
